General Election Absentee Voting Information and Deadline for Absentee Ballots

The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail or fax for the Novenmber 5th 2024 General Election is October 23rd, 2024.  Absentee ballots may be requested by mail, fax, or email. Send absentee ballot requests to:

Requests MUST include name, phone number, address to mail the ballot to, reason for voting absentee, birth date, or last four of your social security number, and the signature of each person requesting to vote absentee.

Voters may cast their absentee ballots in person in the County Clerk's Office until 5 p.m. the day before the election, November 4th, 2024.  Absentee ballots returned by mail or in person to the Cedar County Clerks office no later than  7 p.m. on Election Day, November 05th 2024.  For your convenience, the County Clerk’s office will be open on Saturday November 2nd, 2024 from 8 a.m. until 12 noon.

Absentee Voting for the November 5th General Election begins Tuesday September 24th, 2024. No Excuse Absentee Voting Begins October 22nd, 2024.
